westport, ma residence master bathroom remodel

the client wanted to update a small residence, including the master bath.  the original layout was modified to get rid of the old jacuzzi tub, and provide a more protected, and also efficient space.  ample countertop space, along with good natural lighting allowed for the removal of the old-fashioned vanity in the bedroom to instead become a small work space.

the bathroom hinges on the custom concrete divider and shelf which provides storage for towels and screens the shower area from the door side, while providing space for toiletries on the side adjacent to the tub and rain shower.

a full length mirror takes advantage of the long line of sight along the counter, which includes additional storage below.

the materials and finishes are clean, polished, and fitting for the new england waterfront location, with classic touches and a play of textures and light.
